15 october 2010 – Mexico City, Mexico – Raquel LUpez Moreno, a sex worker living at casa Xochiquetzal puts make up on before going out to work on the streets of La Merced. Casa Xochiquetzal, a government run retirement community, in one of the poorest and most marginalized neighborhoods in Mexico City, give older and independent sex workers a community, health services, food and shelter, a space to learn about their human rights and courses to help them rediscover their self-confidence and deal with traumatic aspects of their lives.
